Trieste

Located at the head of the Gulf of Trieste, the city is the fourth largest city of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Trieste is a historical city with lots of museums, such as the Revoltella Museum, or the Museo Sartorio. The city was one of the oldest parts of the Habsburg Monarchy. It was the most important port of one of the Great Powers of Europe. Today, the city is known as one of the richest regions of Italy.
