Lomé

Situated on the Gulf of Guinea, Lomé is the capital and largest city of Togo. Lomé is surrounded by a lagoon to the north. The city was founded in the 18th century by the Ewe people. The city known as the city of producing natural products such as coffee, cocoa, copra, and palm kernels. It also has an oil refinery. Tourism is a rapidly growing sector in the city.
