Punta Cana

Punta Cana is a city popular with its tropical climate and beautiful sandy white beaches. The city is located in the province of La Altagracia. Punta Cana has been a popular destination since the 1970s for its beaches and balnearios. The name of the city refers to the cane palms in the region, and literally means “Tip of the White Cane Palms”.
