Lilongwe is Malawi’s capital city. The city is divided into New and Old city with the Lilongwe Nature Sanctuary between the two. The Old Town is where people can find cafes, restaurants, bus stations, and market. New Town is where the government ministries, offices, and embassies are. The city named after the great Lilongwi River that flows into Lake Malawi. Lilongwe is a green city with trees and grassland.
