Kuching is the capital of Sarawak, Malaysia. The name is derive from the Malay word ‘kucing’, means cat. But it more likely comes from the Chinese word for port (“cochin”). Kuching also known for its longan fruit, or ‘mata kucing’. It is a popular trade item in this city. The locals often refer to Kuching as the “Cat City”. The city has many historical sites and museum, one of the most visited museums is Kuching Cat Museum.
Kuantan is the third largest state in Malaysia and also the state capital of Pahang. It is located near the mouth of the Kuantan River and faces the South China Sea. This city is known for its waterfalls. The most well-known is the Sungai Pandan Waterfall. Kuantan was identified as a hub for trade, commerce, transportation, and tourism due to its strategic location. Kuantan is also known for its friendly and welcoming people.
