Varanasi

Varanasi, also known as Benares, is a city situated in Uttar Pradesh, India. The city is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Varanasi is one of the holiest cities and centres of pilgrimage for Hindus of all denominations. Some Hindus believe that death at Varanasi brings salvation. Moreover, the city also has its own culture of fine art and literature. Ramnagar Fort and Museum is one of the interesting places to be visit in the city.
