Medina (or Madinah), is the second holiest site in Islam and very important to it\'s people. This cultural city is located in the north of the Holy City of Makkah. Madinah known as the “City of the Prophet”. It is reportedly home to the three oldest mosques in Islam. In ancient times, the city was known as Yathrib.
