Kalibo

Kalibo is the capital of Aklan province, one of the four provinces comprising the island of Panay,which is the sixth largest island in the Philippines. The city is the cultural, political, spiritual, and intellectual centre of this province. Kalibo Mangrove Ecotourism Park is a popular destination in Kalibo. It is one of the most successful mangrove reforestation projects in the country. Ati-Atihan Festival is a popular and colourful festival in Kalibo.
