Pangkalpinang is the largest city on the island of Bangka and is also the provincial capital of Bangka-Belitung. Tanjung Pandan is the largest city found on the island of Belitung, in the province of Bangka-Belitung. Here you can discover a variety of unique tourist attractions to enjoy and mostly connected to the beach. The island is encircled by unspoiled white sand beaches, calm crystal clean waters. One of the most visited beaches near Tanjung Pandan is Tanjung Tinggi, due to its massive round boulders, made smooth by the ocean. The location was used in the Indonesian film titled \'Laskar Pelangi\'.
