Set in its own private enclave with harbor views and landscaped courtyard, this stunning hotel offers guests an urban sanctuary in the heart of the city. The narrow streets and historic wharves made up Boston's first neighborhood and shaped the early growth of the city. Today, steeped in 300 years of history, warehouses and shipyards have been reborn as residences and restaurants, complete with harbor side walking paths and new urban parks. The modern shoreline offers an exciting gateway to the city.
Exterior: The Fairmont Battery Wharf is a brand new build. The property is a mixed use of hotel guest rooms and condominiums, comprised of four buildings it has a relaxed residential feel. Maximum building height is 6 floors, due to waterfront restrictions. Hotel courtyard is landscaped in a fishing net design. There is a harbor walk around the main buildings that extend over the water, this harbor walk leads down the whole Boston harbor front.
Lobby: The hotel lobby is a warm contemporary living room with rich woods, luxurious marbles and illuminated alabaster decorating the walls, floors and counters. The front desk backdrop is a wall of iridescent shell, reflecting the shimmering sea. There are three separate seating areas; by the main entrance, lobby living room and guest reception. We will be serving a light lunch and evening fare in the lobby from 11:30AM through 1:30PM along with beverages, all from our Sensing menu. The front desk will also offer 24 hour concierge service as well.

All of the hotel rooms offer the following amenities: 42-inch flat-panel televisions with cable TV, DVD players, radios, an in-room safe, wireless and wired high-speed Internet access (a surcharge applies), direct dial telephones, complimentary newspapers, and voicemail. Additional amenities include individually regulated air conditioning and heating, minibars, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing sets and double or king-size beds. An en suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer also features in all rooms as standard. In addition, a turndown service is offered nightly, housekeeping is available, and amenities available on request include wake-up calls, cots (infant beds) and rollaway beds.

Sensing restaurant will serve breakfast and dinner with light fare available at the bar and the Lobby living room. It's contemporary cuisine, French-inspired menu is developed by Michelin three-star chef Guy Martin. The interior design is reflective of Guy Martin's Sensing restaurant in France, crisp contemporary with a tiger's eye bar and Chef's table that seats up to 8 people, guests can watch as the chef's prepare their dishes. The wine list offers notable wines from allover the world. Restaurant will seat up to 72 people at capacity.

The hotel offers its guests a gym with a variety of cardio machines and free weights.

Guests may check-in after 3 pm and are requested to check-out before 12 pm. The concierge is available from 7 am to 11:30 pm in the main lobby of the hotel.

From RTE 93 South: Take exit 24 B-A towards Airport/Government Center, Take exit 24-A towards Government Center, turn left onto Surface Road and follow to Atlantic Avenue and onwards to Battery Wharf on the right. From RTE 93 North: take exit 23, Government Center/North End. Stay in the left lane and turn left at the end of ramp going onto Surface Road. Follow Surface Road to Atlantic Avenue, turn left onto Atlantic Ave and follow to Battery Wharf on the right.
