Amara Sanctuary sits on the site of the historic British Sergeants
Quarters that were built in the 1930's. Two of the building are
conserve colonial heritage buildings which now houses the Verandah
and Courtyard suites. The resort has its own tennis court, jogging
track and three outdoor pools. The roof-top infinity pool
overlooking the ocean is reserved exclusively for adult guests. Set
in 3.5 hectares of lush tropical greenery, the hotel is furnished
with an array of utmost amenities and services that comprise
babysitting, business center, public internet access, conference
room, money exchange facility, wheelchair accessible, medical
service, room and laundry service.
Rooms
The rooms are situated in a stylishly designed building that offers
contemporary accommodation with superb views of the surrounding
tropical landscape. Each room is spacious (37 to 39
m²), offering modern amenities like Internet access,
direct dial telephone with voice mail, an electronic safe,
complimentary coffee and tea making facilities, a minibar with 2
bottles of complimentary mineral water daily. En suite bathrooms
are furnished with a bathtub and shower, and include amenities like
slippers, bathrobes, specially designed toiletries as well as a
weighing scales. A hairdryer, ironing set, as well as a double or

wading pool for children and a 2nd rooftop pool for a quiet and
private swim. For golf lovers can enjoy golf at the Sentosa Golf
Club which has at its disposal 2 challenging 18-hole 72 par golf
courses, and table tennis is also offered.
