Operated by the largest budget hotel chain in Singapore, this air-conditioned, 5-storey city hotel provides a comfortable stay in a former merchants' building. Guests are welcomed with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a laundry service (charges apply), a hotel safe at the front desk and 24-hour security surveillance of all public areas. Hotel 81 Sakura offers 75 clean and comfortable guestrooms in a surprisingly wide variety of configurations to accommodate any type of holiday or business visit.

All rooms come with individually adjustable air conditioning, a TV, a radio, a direct dial telephone, a hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, as well as a small en-suite bath/ shower room with a heater. An ironing set is available on request, and an internet access is also a standard feature. The rooms are small, and there is no wardrobe. Although some rooms do not have a window, all rooms are furnished with TV, one double or queen-size bed, or two single beds (no extra bed allowed).
