One of the newest deluxe properties on the island, a good choice
for those looking for complete solitude. With extra-large villas,
24 hour in-room dining and private villa pools, there is no need to
leave your room. Should guests wish to venture out, there are good
dining options, an extensive spa featuring Indian and Western
treatments, and a number of recreational activities to keep one
entertained.
Exterior: The resort is comprised of individual villas constructed
in typical colonial Mauritian architecture, with added Indian and
African touches, spread over 27 acres. Although each villa features
an individual plunge pool, guests may also choose to relax at the
main pool overlooking the beach
Lobby: The open-air lobby area is large and serene, offering
individual check-in desks, rather that one large reception
counter.
Rooms
The villas are wonderfully spacious and include a large daylight en
suite bathroom with an indoor and an outdoor shower and bath, a
walk-in wardrobe, flat-screen TV with satellite/cable channels,
DVD, music system/radio, Internet access, an espresso machine,
personal bar and safe. Furthermore, each accommodation is fitted
with double or king-size beds, a direct dial telephone, ironing set
and terrace. The air conditioning is individually regulated.
Restaurant & Food
Guests have a choice of two dining outlets, in addition to 24-hour
villa service. The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and
dinner featuring an international menu with a local touch. For more
intimate dining, dinner can also be arranged in private gazebos in
the garden, with a supplement. Another restaurant is located on the
opposite side of the resort and features a Pan Asian/ Indian menu,
with a teppanyaki bar.
Activities & Sport
Guests may take a refreshing dip in the outdoor heated swimming
pool with children's swimming area and grab refreshments from the
poolside snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are provided on the
sun terrace and on the nearby sandy beach. Aqua fit classes, a gym,
hot tub, sauna and steam room are further leisure facilities.
Massage and spa treatments are offered for additional fees. Guests
may enjoy a wide range of water sports including waterskiing,
diving, surfing, windsurfing, motor boating, sailing, catamaran
boating, canoeing and pedal boating. Alternatively, guests may take
advantage of the tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, bocce,
horse riding and biking facilities. Entertainment programmes are on
offer for adults and children.
