This hotel is located in Jamaica's second city, Montego Bay, which is considered the central point of the country's tourism. The centre is just 10 minutes from the hotel. Restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and shops are located there as well as within the hotel grounds. As the building is only some 5 minutes from Sangster International Airport, some aircraft noise may be heard. However, the longest white sand beach in Jamaica and the romantic location with panoramic sea views will make this fade away. Guests will reach the Mayfield Waterfalls in about 50 minutes by car, Black River in some 80 minutes, while Ocho Rios and the world famous Dunn's River Falls lie approximately one and a half hours from the hotel.

With its ideal location, it is no wonder that the hotel offers more rooms and suites with sea views than any other resort in Jamaica. There are a total of 251 rooms available, of which 35 are suites. Facilities on offer at this air-conditioned establishment with gardens include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, a hairdresser, a bar, a nightclub, and five restaurants. Water sporting activities include canoeing, aquatrikes, kayaking, water skiing, snorkelling, diving (free for guests with a PADI certificate, otherwise charges apply), windsurfing, sailing, and paddle boating. Sun loungers are laid out ready for use by the pool and on the beach. An entertainment programme is offered as added amusement.
