The Bale, member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is a unique boutique resort located on the hillside of Bali's fashionable Nusa Dua area, overlooking the Indian Ocean and walking distance from the secluded, white sandy beach of Geger. It is only 12 km away from Ngurah Rai International Airport, 20 minutes by car. And also close to Bali Golf & Country Club and shopping center.

The 29 pavilions have modern, fashionable interiors, and they each have their own private swimming pool. Each has a bathroom, a double or king-size bed and a terrace. Other facilities include a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, hi-fi system, Internet access and a safe. There is a minibar/fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated air-conditioning.

The restaurant by the main pool features an open kitchen with inviting smells of freshly baked goods and brewed coffee for breakfast. It also offers high quality seafood and light cuisine for lunch and dinner.

There is a library located near the lobby, which offers a wide selection of books and magazines. Board games, CDs and VCDs are also available at reception. The beach club is located just a short walk away from the resort and overlooks the Geger Temple. The beach has white sand, warm, clean water, and gentle surf - making it perfect for leisurely swimming. For an additional fee, guests can use the two-staged, large swimming pool or receive massage and spa treatments. Bali golf course is a 5-minute drive away, and the Tanjung Benoa Water Sports Centre is a 10-minute drive away. The resort is also close to the Bali Golf & Country Club.
