Santai is a beautiful and cozy small boutique beach resort located in Amed, East Coast of Bali, in verdant tropical gardens with Mount Agung rising in the backround. Santai is filled with many intoxicating smells, the ocean, sweet and heavy fragrance of Bougainville which stands out brightly from the garden and of course spicy aroma from the open air Coconut restaurant.

Santai offers two types of authentic Toraja-style (from Sulawesi in North Indonesia) wooden cottages or bungalows. Each bungalow stands on sturdy wooden pillars and are topped with a layered straw roof (called alang-alang here in Bali) and shaped in the characteristic sweeping curved arch. Another options are the Suites; Each suite offers a spacious patio where comfy bamboo sofas and a daybed await you.

Coconut Restaurant at Santai Hotel Bali has proudly established itself as one of the finest eateries in The Amed area and serves a wide variety of the Indonesian, Balinese and Western food. The dining area sits underneath an impressive wooden and bamboo structure, built in sheer Balinese tradition. The restaurant opens out onto our private outdoor swimming pool and our lush tropical garden.

Spa; Channa Spa @ Santai offers different types of massages as well as pedicure and manicure treatments. For all the more elaborate and longer treatments, we warmly invite you to discover Channa Spa located at The Griya Villas and Spa resort. Alternatively, rent a bicycle or car to explore the region.
