This hotel is situated at the heart of the Spice-Coast. The legendary, palm-fringed section of the beach is covered by powder-fine sand. The idyllic landscape tempts all those guests who are looking to escape the daily grind. Alleppey is around 12 km from the hotel. The centre of Kochi is 60 km away and Kochi airport lies approximately 90 km from the hotel. Trivandrum is around 160 kilometres from the hotel.

The resort derives its name from one of the small, local fishing villages, Mararikulam. On offer a lobby area, air conditioning, a currency exchange desk and a restaurant.
