Renovated in 2008, this family-friendly beach hotel comprises a
total of 519 rooms and is well-known for its classic aristocratic
buildings and for offering its guests friendly and personal service
of the highest quality. One of the most beautifully planned hotels
in Greece, the hotel is everyone's ideal choice of holiday resort
hotel. The Cretan village-style bungalows and traditional main
building are set in 80,000 m² of gardens interspersed with
colourful plants and shade-giving, ancient trees. Facilities on
offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a
lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel
safe, a currency exchange facility and lift access. It also offers
a hairdressing salon, a TV lounge, a children's playground and a
kids' club. Furthermore, guests can relax in the cafe, bar or
restaurant and conference facilities and WLAN Internet access are

The garden view rooms are luxuriously furnished and decorated, with
high quality carpets, fabric and linen and an air of quality and
luxury everywhere in the room. It can accommodate 2 or 3 guests and

Restaurant & Food
The main restaurant and taverna offer a variety of international
and Greek dishes. There is a dedicated Cretan speciality taverna
that serves only Cretan recipes. Also a traditional kafeneion, the
legendary Greek cafe where locals hang out and also a brasserie, a
pool bar and a main bar.
Activities & Sport
Guests may relax in the hotel's numerous pools, including indoor
and outdoor swimming pools (one of which is heated), a saltwater
pool and a childrens' swimming area. There is a poolside snack bar
and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols or guests can join
an aqua fit or aerobics class, or relax in the sauna or with a
massage (for an additional fee). Sports enthusiasts may enjoy a
work-out in the gym and there are plenty of other sporting
activities available such as waterskiing, jet skiing, diving,
windsurfing, motor boating, banana boating, sailing, catamaran
sailing and canoeing. It is also possible to enjoy pedal boating or
play a game of badminton, tennis, table tennis, pool/snooker, beach
volleyball or bocce. The hotel also offers archery, horse riding
and cycling and there are separate entertainment programmes for
adults and children. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out ready
for use on the sandy/pebbly beach.
