will satisfy all guests who want to experience a relaxing holiday
in a high class environment.
Exterior: It is a well known locally purpose-built 6 storey
building. There are two outdoor swimming pools. The conference
facility is also well known and equipped with all modern gadgets
for hosting a small to medium sized event.
Lobby: The lobby and lounge area near the entrance is also where
the various shops are. The hotel organizes a high quality and
varied entertainment program, and can cater for various on and off
site sporting activities. The wellness spa is also available for
the guests, with some activities free of charge and others charged
independently.
Rooms
All standard rooms are fitted with double beds and have a pillow
menu. Amenities include a direct dial telephone, safe, satellite TV
with music channels, mini hifi system with radio and CD player and
free WLAN Internet access. There is a minibar (for an extra charge)
and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have air
conditioning and heating. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a
bath/shower and WC, as well as toiletries, bathroom amenities,
bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer. There is a balcony or terrace
for each room.
Restaurant & Food
In the main restaurant a full buffet dinner with local and
international cuisine and an active live show cooking station is
available. Guests may choose their main course from 3 options, one
of them being a vegetarian dish (waiter service). The à la
carte restaurant transforms dinner from a meal into a dining
experience offering gourmet delights.
Activities & Sport
The hotel has 3 swimming pools - 1 indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools,
as well as a poolside snack bar. Guests may take part in aqua fit
classes if they wish or simply recline on sun loungers on the sun
terrace or under a parasol. There are also aerobics classes
available. The hotel offers guests the use of a gym, sauna, hot tub
and steam bath (free of charge). There is a diving school available
at Rithymna Beach Hotel (extra charges apply). Other water sports
that guests may wish to try include waterskiing, jet skiing,
windsurfing, motor boating, banana boating, sailing, catamaran
boating, canoeing or pedal boating. (All of these with the
exception of pedal boating incur additional fees). Guests can enjoy
the day playing beach volleyball, bocce, archery, table tennis,
darts or pool/snooker. For an additional fee, guests may go biking
or horse riding. There is also a children's corner and
entertainment programmes for both children and adults available and
different performances including folklore shows, a hotel band and
dancing evenings.
