Overall, this family owned and run hotel offers a good value for its cost, a modern interior in a traditional building, and an excellent friendly service, all within a central location.
Exterior: It is a traditional white stone building with narrow rectangular and arched windows.
Lobby: The lobby is medium sized and decorated in light pastel colours and contains a life size replica statue of the Little Mermaid. There is also wireless internet access in the lobby.

This hotel has got different rooms categories. The standard and superior rooms have officially been rated 3 star, the rooms without facilities (see "Absalon 1 star/no facilities") have been officially rated 1 star. Rooms are traditional in design, with carpeted floors, light floral textiles and well-kept light wooden furniture. All rooms are medium in size and offer very clean accommodation with good en-suite facilities. There are tea and coffee facilities in all rooms.

Located on the ground floor, it is a large open planned space adjacent to the lobby and near to the entrance, offering a bright and enjoyable environment to enjoy breakfast.
