The building forms part of the Yas Marina development accompanying
the new Formula One circuit. The racetrack will pass through the
complex under a bridge linking the two towers of the hotel. A
canopy made of steel and diamond-shaped, glass panels will be
supported over the towers and bridge. Built in 2009, the
air-conditioned spa complex offers 499 rooms in total and welcomes
guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a
hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift
access. Further facilities include a newspaper stand, cafe, bar and
restaurant. Guests may also take advantage of the conference
facilities, WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, and a
car park.
Rooms
Each room is 53.5 square metres in size and provides a range of
upscale amenities, such as a 42-inch LCD TV, wireless Internet
access free of charge, an iPod, Xbox, PS3 (available on request),
home theatre, mood lighting, a safe, tea and coffee making
facilities and a lounge area. Every room has a balcony or terrace
with views of the marina or racetrack. An en suite bathroom with
rain shower and bathtub, a double or king-size bed, hairdryer,
direct dial telephone, radio, minibar and individually regulated
air conditioning and heating also feature in all rooms as
standard.
Restaurant & Food
Buffets are served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. À la
carte options are also available for lunch and dinner.
Activities & Sport
There is a heated outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming
area, a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers laid
out ready for use. Guests may also take advantage of the gym,
sauna, steam room and massage treatments. Golf is offered at the
nearby course (fees apply). The hotel organises entertainment
programmes for adults (fees apply).
