Styled after a Mediterranean village, awash with colour, style and
texture, the resort offers impeccably appointed rooms on an 18-acre
bayfront park. Guests can enjoy lush green gardens, rolling lawns
and sandy bayfronts just steps from their door. This club resort
consists of a total of 357 rooms. Guests are welcomed in a lobby
with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Facilities include
air conditioning, a hotel safe, lift access, a newspaper stand,
hairdressing salon, kids' club (for a fee), conference facilities,
as well as room and laundry services. Internet access is available
for a fee. Self parking is also available for a daily fee. Guests
are invited to wine and dine in the bar or restaurant.
Rooms
Each room features a large balcony or patio, king-size or two
queen-size beds, high-speed Internet access, a minibar, coffee
maker, 27-inch television with in-room movies, hairdryer, iron and
ironing board, voicemail and dataports. All are en suite with a
shower and bath. A radio, safe, and individually regulated air
conditioning and heating also come as standard in all rooms.
Restaurant & Food
In Acqua, American cuisine comes to life in this newly renovated
restaurant overlooking Mission Bay. It is open for breakfast, lunch
and dinner. Fresco's offers snacks and refreshing cocktails for
lunch; open from mid-July until Labour Day. The Aroma coffee house
offers coffee in the early morning and as an afternoon treat. The
Olive has an extensive bar and martini menu, and serves New
American cuisine. It is open for lunch and dinner. Both lunch and
dinner are available either à la carte or from a set
menu.
Activities & Sport
Just some of the hotel amenities include a full-service spa
offering massages and treatments, an outdoor swimming pool with
poolside snack bar, wave runners, pedalos, wind surfboards, kayaks,
scuba diving, and bike rental. Sun loungers and parasols are laid
out ready for use and guests can also enjoy a workout in the gym or
relax in the steam room. Many of these are at an additional cost.
The water sports that incur fees include waterskiing, jet skiing,
motor boating and sailing. Guests can also play tennis, basketball
or volleyball. Sun loungers with parasols are also laid out on the
sandy beach (for a fee).
Comments
Hilton San Diego now offers a daily shuttle services to and from
SeaWorld and Old Town, the scheduled shuttle times are at 10am, 4pm
and 10pm (may vary / currently the closing time of SeaWorld).
Reservations are required and can be made with the bell staff,
front desk and/or concierges. The transportation shuttle fee is $3
per person each way and can be charged to the guests? room.

there
Driving directions from San Diego International Airport (SAN): head
west on N Harbor Drive towards Airport Terminal Road, then turn
right at Laning Road, after that turn right at Rosecrans Street.
Turn right at Taylor Street, and take the 1st left onto Pacific
Highway. Continue onto E Mission Bay Drive, the hotel will be on
the left.
